Privacy

What we collect

• Your email address, when you ask for a free template or join a waitlist, along with which form you used and which page it was on.
• Your IP address and country, recorded by our hosting provider with each signup and with a few site events: downloading a template and clicking a preorder button.
• Page views, through Vercel Web Analytics. It counts visits in aggregate and does not use cookies.
• Session recordings, through Microsoft Clarity: clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, so we can see where pages confuse people. Clarity masks what you type into forms and uses cookies. We do not load Clarity at all if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
• Payments, if you preorder, are handled entirely by Whop. We see that a purchase happened and the email used for it. We never see or store card details.

Why we collect it

• To send you the template or waitlist confirmation you asked for.
• To tell you when Hourcrest opens.
• To understand which pages help people, so we can build the right thing. The whole site exists to measure two numbers: how many people want the free tracker, and how many would pay for the verified version.

We do not send marketing sequences. We do not sell, rent or share your email with anyone.

Who processes it

• Vercel hosts the site and runs Vercel Web Analytics.
• A managed Postgres database, provided by Prisma, stores signups and site events.
• Microsoft runs Clarity under the Microsoft privacy statement.
• Whop processes preorders under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Your email stays on the list until you ask us to remove it. Site events are kept in aggregate for as long as they help us make decisions. If Hourcrest shuts down, the list is deleted.

Your choices

• Reply "remove" to any email from us, or write to hello@hourcrest.com, and we delete your email within 7 days.
• You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or to correct it, at the same address.
• Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser to stop Clarity from loading on this site.

Children

Hourcrest is built for college students and working professionals. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change how we use your information, we update this page and the date at the top. For a material change, we tell subscribers by email before it takes effect.
